The BCA is organising a fundraising showcase at Brixton Academy on Sunday 29th March. The following information comes from the BCA:

FUNDRAISING SHOWCASE FOR BLACK CULTURAL ARCHIVES

Sunday 29th March 2009 at 02 Academy Brixton, London

You are invited to the Black Cultural Archives fundraising event featuring:

This variety showcase is in aid of Black Cultural Archives’ ambition to open a
£6.5m Heritage Centre in 2011. The new Heritage Centre will be dedicated to
preserving, exploring and celebrating Black histories, identities and culture.

Black Cultural Archives is supported by London Development Agency, the Heritage Lottery Fund and
Lambeth Council.
